Are there any DVB-S2X signals in North America?
My TBS 6522 is supposed to be able to receive DVB-S2X signals.
But I don't know of any DVB-S2X signals to be able to test it.
I haven't found any signals that the TBS 6522 can lock that the TBS 5925 can't.
I'm not sure how I would be able to tell if a signal was DVB-S2X other than non-standard FEC's.

Try the PC card DTA-2137C from Sencore.

http://www.sencore.com/sites/default/files/DTA-2137.jpg

No problem for receive DVB-S2 T2-MI signal on SES-6 40.5°W.

Same for Galaxy 14 on TP 4140 V 30000 8PSK-ACM. The DTA-2137C is perfect and my TBS-5925 not able to keep lock on this G-14 signal.

I'm curious re you're not being able to keep a lock with the 5925.
At least right now, I'm able to keep a lock with both my 6983 and 6925, and the 6925 should be pretty much the same as the 5925.  However I've seen a couple posts here suggesting that maybe the 5925 can't do some things that the 6925 does.  So perhaps there are differences  between 5925 and 6925?  Or perhaps the mux changes in structure from time to time?
Right now, although ACM, the mux seems to be staying on 8PSK-3/4, perhaps at other times other modes are there???
Right now, the input stream is showing mult, jumping rapidly between 1 and 2.  It's been a long time, but at one point in the past, with both cards, but easier with 6983,  I was able to select one of of the multi streams of some VCM transponders, getting different programming on the different streams. On this one, I seem to get the same channels whatever I do, so I may be forgetting how I used to do it.  So I'm curious re whether you get different channels on the two multi-streams?

Anyway, interesting that perhaps this is a difference between 6925 and 5925.

Music Choice works fine on my TBS 5925.
Both streams are showing the same channels at this time.
Long ago when the mux first appeared, Music Choice was on the first stream and color bars were on the second stream.

If it is true that you receive the transponder 4,140 GHz on Galaxy 14 with a TBS-5925, I have 2 USB tuner TBS-5925 defective. I have never seen any ACM or VCM signals keep lock here on this tuner. I use my DTA-2137 card and it works perfectly. I have Norsat 3520 LNB (20ºk) in my C-Band antennas.

Here is a short video that shows what the TBS-5925 does here.

I need to get one of those Jean. Currently using Sencore mrd3187b with s2 tuner card for MC feed.

To buy Sencore commercial products, the best prices are from TVC Communications USA & Canada. Only dealers can buy at this location. They do not sell directly to the consumer. Asks Rick to check. The suggested retail price for the Dektec DTA-2137 is $ 1250.00 U.S.

There seems to be a problem with DVBDream.  My TBS 5925 can't lock the signal either using DVBDream.  It plays fine with Crazyscan, TSReader and VLC though.

Hi jean, I wonder if  DVBdream would lock signal if you selected MODCOD and a "sub stream ID"
Wejones says there might be 2 MIS. Unless 5925 is still broke?
The Dektec probably doesn't need the input stream, I don't know.  I would have to look at it again, I know it finds the MODCOD
And you can lock a "DVB-S2 T2-MI signal on SES-6 40.5°W" Nice Thanks! if I ever get a dish pointed that far east I'll try that.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
