First off; 6050 can not do 31250 sr. The dsr 6000 can do that, but it has other limitations. Second; if I remember correctly the sr is 20000 & 20500. You can set the sr manually for them, but they are never ITC. Third; to get megapipe for the 6050, you set it to dc2 auto. I saw on fleebay one was sold for about $250.

Edit: I found this info after thinking about G1. See the below.
ANIK G1 transponders are expected to support approximately 45 Mb per second in throughput vs. the 38.8 Mb per second currently utilized on ANIK F1R and F2. To receive these MPEG 4 signals BDUs can utilize a variety of Motorola equipment, including the DSR-4410MD, DSR-4440, DSR-4460, DSR-6050, or DSR-6100.

The specs say it will, but I found it take forever to fine s2 mpeg 4s. I check in two times. Auto and DVB-s2. $400 sound like a good price. Does he have a web site? You can pm me now.

Hi J.J,
Here is some added information on the dsr 6050. Motorola in there fine wisdom left out the audio monitoring software for this model. They left the connectors for audio on the back, but said they might add the software update at a later date. What is even more crazy is that they changed the connector type from the one on the 6000 to a new one on the 6050. Yes, I ordered out the connectors before I found this out. Another collection of connectors to go on the shelf with the others. Rumors are that Motorola did update the software, but I have not found it and I am sure Arris would want a lot of $ for it if asked. The only way to get the sound and video is with the GIGE or ASI connects. One way is to pick up a Motorola SEM-V8. Another is to use an ASI input card for the PC. I have not played with that card in years. I will have to check and see if I can still get drivers for it. Hope this info helps you.

The G1 signal is not on standard frequencies and one needs a special LNB for them (I have a Shaw system_. also G1 has a much narropwer beam than f1 so the sigal does not go very far int the USA. I live in the PRI about 2.5 hour drive SW of Chicago and G1 does ot come i witha stndard BIg shaw, dish to get it I have a 4 goot one for F1 / G1 and a 3 ggoot one for F2 (most HD is on G1 although some is on F2). Rge siganal level on G1 is a lot less than F1 and some transponders are borderline on cloud free days.

So if the ubit does get the FP than this will be useful.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
