Well, sure glad i rode with my courier other half today!
Stopped at thrift store and she said, look at all those dishes over there.Well i see it's a radio station, figure no chance there, but get to looking & they have, only one 14 ft. On pole they are using. So see guy in station, says need talk to owner who just drove up.We talk a good 30 mins.Hey finally says he ran out of coax......i mention i have about 600 ft on reel......he thinks a little, says if i take & clear it all out it's a deal! And btw he has another 14 ft dish without arms/feed,can prob get.Total 3 10' mesh,1 alum (i think) and big fg.I did not get a close look inside fence. See pics of ones inside fence.
Also 100 yards away score a CM Round, like PS dish with block frame & DN Dish & block frame.Same location as Radio Station, diff bldg.
And finally,on way out of that town Becky remembered another dish......and boy it's a nice one! It has a Big,Long Superjack Ii actuator, all stainless bolts! Have to get in touch with lady's husband about it.Has the pole over pole setup. Not like usual FG Dish, seems more like type plastic.Anyone got info on these types please post.
Please see pics..

Wow! Christmas has come very early this year. I have a Paraclipse,  how ever ones spells, it which used the round pole in the cement and a square pole over that up to the dish. Take every thing that is offered and worry about too much spare parts later. Guys need extra stuff! Nice find indeed.

Pic12 is a Channel Master SMC. If it is 10 ft and the glass is ok snag it. DiamondJim and I put one up we rescued and it is awesome. It is heavy though. Google Channel Master SMC and you can find a manual online, if not pm me and I can email a copy. Poll is either 4.5 or 5. Jim's 10 footer was 5.

In pic #2 I don't think I've seen that scaler before.
Is that old school?? or a C/ku scaler?

its ashamed that the polar mount on that Scientific Atlanta steel dish with the ADL dual
feedhorn was damaged, I would have loved it for a 11' one still near me. if you can save the plastic feedhorn mount from breaking then you could use the same poles and feedhorn assembly on another dish.just don't bend them too much , they are brittle from the sun after a lot of exposure. Those were
really expensive back in the day and were great spot on high gain reception..nice find, congrats

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
