Didn't work here!   Tested this with Openatv4.2 AZMinime.  Tested this twice editing the file.

Commenting out line, box still reboots on deep standby.  If then I uncomment the line, it will go into deep standby.  I confirmed this twice.  But this only works the first time.  After that, the deep standby no longer works.

Hope this helps, Catamount

Thanks. Actually. Can you do the following. Uafter commenting the line can you shutdown and power cycle the box instead of rebooting. (Just for the one time after the change)
I needed to do same. After that deep standby worked.
From trawling through the commits this is the only one affecting the wakeup timer.

Confirmed working with 5.3.

With 4.2, I edited the file while the box was in regular standby.  File got corrupted and was stuck at splash screen.  Fixed that with backup file from Maz.  May try again later.  Anyway, at least the guys know this works.

Thanks, Dazulrich

thanks for retesting.

I'll submit the change for ME and miniME. the fix can easily be changed to cover the HD versions as well.
Will submit for 5.3 and 6.0.

EDIT: Pull request for v5.3 submitted.

This works for 4.2 as well for people with older versions.  Testing out media player, will post in other thread.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
