I'm trying to get CrazyScan to work with my TBS6983. But when I run it, it puts up an error message 'RFScan not supported'.

In my StreamReader.log it says 'STV091X_Init() - Device is currently busy' and then 'TBS_STV091X_HWInit() Initialization failed'. But I am not running any other program that uses the TBS6983.  The log is below. How can I get CrazyScan working?

Please disregard my previous post. I got it to work by rebooting and making sure that CrazyScan is the first program that I run.

Got a new PC, has Win 10 Home, the latest CrazyScan 1.0.2.146 w/ latest (non-test) StreamReaderExEx dll is very fast and doesn't seem to 'hang' anymore. Scanned 97 and 99W C as a test in 5MHz increments on a TBS6983, took average 140 seconds. I can cut that time in half if I use 10MHz increments but I did notice it was missing some of the narrower TPs doing that. Was taking closer to 4-5mins on previous CrazyScan. Great!

TBS 6522 debug driver
TBS 6528 debug driver
TBS 6590 debug driver
TBS 5520SE debug driver
test StreamReaderEx-BDA 1.2.4.24

P.S.drivers fixed in many aspects - from fix ter/cable tuner init, signal statistic fix (generic in % and extended RFLevel,SNR,BER for advanced app like my BDADAtaEx and TBS IP-data), MIS+PLS+MultiPLP fix (BDADataEx, TBS IP-Data, ProgDVB, DVBDream and etc.), I2C-access fix (5520SE, not tested), LNB power off in Ter/Cable mode on init for 6528, 6590 (critical issue). After success testing official driver must be released [smile]

Driver self-signed, so for win x64 need enable testmode and add my cert to trusted. Just run testcert.cmd with admin rights and reboot.

Please test this debug driver with DVBDream 3.x and another actual DVB app (DVB-S2 MIS+PLS, DVB-T2 MultiPLP). Next step official release signed drivers from TBS.

Hi @crazycat & assemblersat

It looks like it's on PC !

I guess I could not. [frown]

Could you write the driver installation in detail and items ?

Note ; I got a signal from DVB-T2 broadcasts.

I finally accepted crazycat's debug driver, my PC.

But, windows 10 PC be "test mode".
Ekran Alıntısı.PNG

I rescue PC of "test mode" with this command ;

Command prompt ( Administrator ) > bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF and enter

restart PC.

But this time, the device manager (TBS5520se) shows a yellow exclamation mark.

After uninstalling the driver, try to manual install in TBS5520se-debug\x64 ;

installation failed ;

I was surprised. What's the solution ?

Hi @assemblersat,

Thank you for your reply.

Perhaps crazycat produces a solution.

And also; DVB-S2 and DVB-T2 can not be used at the same time.

I converted it with this tool. "TBS5520se_ChangeMode_Tool_V1001"

If DVB-S2 and DVB-T2 can not be used in this card at the same time, product design is bad.

It is just most important to share the find.
