Smartdvb as a powerful appl. isn't mentioned in Blscan "ini" file as a "recipient" of transporder ini format...High time to change this...
Good luck

hehe, maybe that's because altdvb ini files should be just fine with smartdvb :-)

jackjavo, please read again first post of the thread, it was edited a bit to clear position
That means you can use streamreader.dll library in your program for sure. See source code of BLScan, how to use it's functions.

@tempo: thanks, yes already browsed the source and internally the app uses a streamreader-like interface setup so looked familiar enough..

Thats pretty much what I do AC, no fumbling around moving files to their correct location or changing file names. A little work up front, but once its done...its blind scan heaven

After a few hours of test on Ku band, between 10 700 - 12 700 I guess that the precion of searching at 2 Mhz's step is excellent. I did not notice any improvement at 1 Mhz's step compared to 2 Mhz
In step at 4 Mhz, some signals  had not been found, so I decided to leave 3 Mhz in searching.
cheers

Maybe you didn't edited LOF2 value? It is not enough just comment out its value, because default 10600 will be used instead of 10750 (i.e. LOF1 value).
For Ku-Circular LNB should be as follows:

; Low LOF in Mhz, default 9750
LOF1=10750
; High LOF in Mhz, default 10600
LOF2=0
; LOF Switch in Mhz, default 11700
LOFSW=0

Try this way.

i checked again last night and made sure all was set correctly. then i rescanned and everything scanned correctly. for some reason the low of 10750 was not saved in the blscan configuration file. maybe i didn't click on save to set the correct parameters. all is good now

i am not using any switches inline for c/Ku. i am running from lnb to prof7301 direct

Intelsat 904 60E for me is real stress-test for BlindScan implementation Many ultra-low symbol  rate transponders (inet, Russian DVBH-muxes, SCPC-TV and radio packs):

Yes, exactly 60E is very interesting and I have this position in my range, very useful for realigning the dish. After long and frosty winter I will have to do it using Intelsat 904. Must say that I know Russian quite good and watch Russian channels very often, a lot of sport, music amd fun has been broadcasted.
BTW
A very interesting thing in your ini.:
1=10969,V,977,78,1 ;-51 dBm, 11.7 dB
You captured sr below 1000, this frequency has been used for feeds, what kind of transmission it is ?
Cannot check myself 60E at the moment, dish is pointed to the west

This some data transponder, transport stream with some unknow data encapsulation (not MPE, maybe some framerelay). I can lock this on TT S-1401, S2-3200 and Omicom S2 with STV0903BAB. But new Omicom S2 devices with STV903BAC, STV0900AAC can't lock transponders with SR < 1200-1300.

I forgot to ask on what kind of tuner you had locked this low sr, you answered...
Prof 7301 is not able to catch anything close to 1000. 7500 also.
I've got skystar s2 capable to lock even 700.
cheers

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
