I should know this but I guess I don't. On my Ultra I had set up a recording timer but I no longer want to record. I can't seem to stop it. I have tried clearing the timer setting, removing the reserve recordings, even went in using Maz and cleared out the timer I set up then loaded the updated channel list back to the Ultra. Nothing has worked. Can I somehow clear these out without doing a hard reset and starting from scratch?

I have two Ultras and I can't think of any time I could not remove a recording timer. I am using one of the later firmwares, wonder if there was an issue with one of the earlier versions...?
As long as you saved your channel and sat lists doing a hard reset shouldn't be a huge issue though.

I just did a hard reset maybe that will work, thank goodness for Maz-edit. I'm running 5308 firmware. Thanks.

If that didn't work on my HD+, I'd try replacing /DISK2/timer.dat and reserved.dat with zero byte files, then pulling the power supply plug instead of a normal shutdown or reboot.

The factory reset and reload indeed worked great. Thanks for the tip.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
