I feel so lucky with my AzBox Premium. I bought it from Rick early on, soon after he started handling them. I had been relying on the quirky Quali for some time. (Anyone want to buy it?) I stuck a fat little hard drive in the AzBox and never switched any software away from what was on it when I got it. Never had ONE issue with it other than needing a reboot once in a while when the power kicks off.  I leave it parked on F1 for the last couple years as my foot is still screwed up and I'm afraid I will trip with my surgical boot and fall off the roof. I figure my Ajax H-H mount needs greased but can't do it so I'm not going to move it off F1 until it is greased.  As long as I can get my NFL feeds from there (Steelers) I am happy.  I have had some pretty good winds in both winter and summer and the 10' mesh dish doesn't budge. I only have a "saddle mount" straddling the roof with a couple blocks on it. I keep my fingers crossed.

I haven't taken this apart to check the power supply yet. It's becoming increasingly flaky. Just tried to tune in the Army, Navy feed photoman posted. Showed 80% quality. Bumped the dish one step and boom, 100%. I thought boy, this feed is strong. Scanning however produced nothing. Reboot produced the youtube symptom previously mentioned. Finally another hard reboot and it's scanned in and acting ok. Just a black screen right now but, I guess that might be because gametime is a little away yet.

I'm really hoping to limp this thing through the NFL season before tearing it apart. I suppose it wouldn't take that long to just take the cover off and do some simple troubleshooting. We'll see I guess.

EDIT: I just remembered Azbox can't do H264 and 4:2:2 at the same time[frown]

Maybe you could buy some time, or even eliminate flakiness, with a little extra cooling. Behind my EC, which has over 35 components plugged into 120V AC current, I have three small fans, two 6" and one 4". The 4" is aimed at both the hottest corner of my TV and my HD+, and I keep it turned on whenever I have my HD+ turned on.

That's a good point.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
