actually just a little soldering.. We have had the driver working with updateDVB for many years now.
I just rarely ever used it.. It's quite beat up as u can see[biggrin] UDL does have a crude spectrum scan working on it's demod driver (samsung s5h1409). Blind scan works like a champ on that device.

Your Avermedia card looks like an analog tuner with an MPEG2 encoder chip on board?
That could be useful, say if ya wanna record the analog video output from an STB. Or maybe even
use it to record a security camera or something? Shouldn't consume any CPU to speak of encoding.

majortom,

Please take a look at you 0x2000 (8192) pid. Mine reads way over the
19.400 Mbits and seems to continue to climbs5h1409.png for my Hauppage Win 1600 PCI card. It uses the same s5H1409 driver. Does you card do the same?

Hey Andy... That is weird. My inDtube doesn't get that high. Might be something in the PCI bridge??
I have seen similar on the Hauppauge 955Q, but only while the iqplot we added is running.
On the 955Q, the data rate gradually normalizes once the iqplot stops.
What does your 1600 look like when running 'dvbtraffic'?
tune it with updatedvb, duplicate the high traffic, then click 'demux',
and run 'dvbtraffic -a N' where N is your adapter number for the device in question.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
