Waiting for reports with baited breath! Mine will be here tomorrow, but unfortunately I won't be able to play with it anytime soon. Family is evacuating Florida and staying here and the youngest one is 80. I don't think they will have much interest in watching me play with it!

I should think watching you play with the Octagon would be far preferable to fighting a Hurricane [smile]

@wm9 try hooking it up to a computer monitor as it should support more video modes ?

Got mine today, hooked it up and loaded my E2 satellites XML document & lamedb file from my AZBoxME (which I keep saved and up to date on my computer). Now I'm good to go, haven't scanned anything yet. Been busy with other stuff, will get down to playing later. Mine came with OpenATV on it, I did go and get the OpenEight image Hockeynut has suggested. I found it here:

http://www.openeight.de/index.php?open=sf4008

I plan to play with the OpenATV a while before I load this one onto it. But that will be later

I guess it is a good chance to see what works best for everybody. What should I stock up on tomorrow? Ice cream and cookies or prune juice? LOL

There is one signal on Arsat2 Cband.

3790 H 8200
DVB-S2 QPSK
5/6 FEC
Pilot ON
12.8 dB

It's ACM/VCM - Transport Stream
There is one active pid - 646  0x0286
Appears to IP data.

Not to but in here, but see Arsat 1 mentioned
Goona put up Ku Dush for this one.Is this sat fairly strong? Was goona use a Charter Dish/CM 84-E.
They do great, except on the few tough/weaker sats.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
