This PID has been streaming classic movies today.  Casablanca and A Streetcar Named Desire were on earlier and The Wizard of Oz is currently streaming (8:20PM PST).  All clean up nicely with IPcleaner.

Hey guys.  I've been away for a while now, and just getting back into things.  Noticed this thread about IPTV on 11942 pid 800 so i'm giving ipcleaner a shot.  I'm saving the payload and running it through ipcleaner but the resulting file is green with barely some artifacts of motion across the top when I play it in VLC.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

Byron

You're probably doing everything right, but the payload is encrypted.  The green screen with occasional artifacts is typical of an encrypted file with VLC.  With earlier versions of VLC, I used to get a "DRM" message when I tried to play an encrypted file, but I haven't seen that with the current version.  Some days all the files on this transponder are encrypted and some days they are all in the clear.  Keep trying and you're bound to find an unencrypted file eventually.
Good Luck,

I just tried a quick 23mb recording and got the same thing looks like it is encrpyted.
I was gonna say to make sure you try a couple of times, to make sure you record the header. Which you probably did and also select record the "pid" 800 from the record Tab there. Not the whole payload
Like we used to do with the  "ip/dvb mode"

And like Steve said if one is encrypted the next day there in the clear
ADDED:I wanted to add to that I've seen some IP streams I don't think it was this one but some might have an encrypted stream and a couple of minutes later another sub stream might fire up thats not encrypted showing a totally different show

Since yesterday afternoon (Sunday 8 June), this PID has been streaming recent movies unencrypted.  "Gravity" and "Captain Phillips" were both screened last night.
