I've never had any luck playing the radio channels with TSReader and VLC.
I use Transedit instead and it works very well.

There are other creative methods to figure out how stations might be obtaining the radio feeds.  I have used google street view to look at certain radio station's dish setups to try and figure out their orbital setup.  I have also noticed certain stations (mostly tv) that have feed problems at certain time during the equinox, I then assume a solar outage which tells me their orbital being used.  Also bad weather sometimes confirms the use of satellite feeds.

Dude, that's pretty "CSI" right there. People's resourcefulness never ceases to amaze me.

Cheers

Looks like things are changing a bit out on 139W... unless I'm going all user-error with my new crazyscan toy.
Could someone verify these two observations:
1) About 90 Streams open, but zero programming on Premiere TP 4110
2) Clear Channel TP on 4124 GONE (Or moved?)
Thanks!

Thanks Barry,
Maybe I've screwed-up my audio codec.

Mr AC,
Ok My 4124 was being obscured by the TP above it.  I see what you mean about resolution with Spectrum.
I can unlock and hear 4124 fine.
Can you let me know about any one single active PID on Premiere?

OK, I'm POSITIVE I was carefully changing settings.
This stuff crashes sometimes.
Even my video presentation was sparse white dots.
You are right AC.
Talk radio lives on AMC8.
I Guess Sometimes you just have to uninstall and reinstall (DVBViewer).

There is a new mux on AMC 8.
3788 V 4987
DVB-S2 QPSK
3/4 FEC
Pilot Off

It's IP data.
Possibly IP radio channels.
Unfortunately, I can't play any of the files.

VLC will "play" a few of the PIDS, that is, the time counter counts as data streams from TSR to VLC, but there is only silence. But with some PIDS VLC doesn't count at all....the PID seems to be "dead"....

I think this is the new location for Westwood One.
There is no signal at their old location.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
