Mike are you looking for it at 72w or 67w. According to photoman it was at 70w 6 days ago moving 1/2 degree per day to 67 so it should be there roughly today.

Yes, AMC 6 is now at 67 degrees West.  There won't be any satellite at 72 degrees West until traffic is transferred from AMC 3 to AMC 6 and AMC 3 moves to 72 degrees West.

Is there anything live at 67 yet? I messed around with the 2 TPs I have stored for AMC6, but couldn't find anything.

I see 11097 H 32719 DVB-S2 16APSK 4/5 at the approximate location where 67W would be according to guesswork.  Could this be from AMC 6?

Working on updating sat list`s in several receivers and here I am at 67 and 72.Ok is this correct--AMC 6 and AMC 4 will be at the same orbital location of 67W?.

When is AMC 3 expected to be at 72W?

his original posts were here back in october, so maybe they are a little behind schedule?

But, keep in mind in those filings or notices, they are careful to specify that movements will occur "no earlier than" xxxx
so they never specify exactly when.

naw, I don't think so. Did you download the two notices?
probably should, since in each document there are updated contours
for each sat position for after the moves are complete.

And here is what I see active at 67w right now.

11979 H 9999
11719 V 28888
11759 V 28888
11799 V 28888
11839 V 28888
11879 V 28888
11919 V 28888

Curious if we see any sports feeds now that AMC 6 has made its way to 67w

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
