Thanks crazycat for clarification and Your precious support [smile]

Current TBS BDA drivers support only generic features. No Blindscan, no MIS+PLS. Anybody use TBS Blindscan ?[smile]

No, this modulation related to advanced S2X profile.

Rf-scan fast, but not accurate. Only 8-bit demod AGC. BLScan2 fast like STV0910 (6983,6903,6905/8), but not find some ACM transponders and report incorrect modulation and SNR. Anyway Silabs demods controlled by internal MCU, so driver very simple comparing with STM.

Thanks for informations... Looks like not easy to decide. Basic DVB-S2X support is great, Your blindscan support also great, also DVB-C would be useful for me... but...

If TBS driver has no PLS - PLS lock only in CrazyScan and eventually on software which use Your StreamReaderEx-BDA? No PLS/MIS on AltDVB?

Did You try maybe low SR receiving? How low 6522 can go? 128 ksps possible? [wink]

Maybe I'll try to buy this card, 6522 could be maybe more interesting because of that channel bonding - maybe higher SR possible when switching demod to single mode like in STM?

6522 knows only from 500 ks up but only manually.I tried below(260-Hispasat),but unfortunately it is impossible to lock,and 128 ksps not think about it.

Thanks @satesco, 500 is maybe not the best, but still much impressive, enough for most transmissions [smile] But won't replace 6983/6903 for lower SR values...

To make DVB-S2X test, have ready frequencies?

Think I have locked an SR of less than 500KC with the 6903 but wasn't able to decode the data or what ever it was streaming... 30W maybe. Can't find it in my latest scans though.

Somewhat off topic, but in the screen captures you posted, you have a value of 260 entered in the minimal symbol rate box in the carrier search window. The newest version of Crazyscan I have only goes down to 1000 with my 6983.  It makes me think that there might be a newer version of Crazyscan out.  The latest one I've seen is 1.0.2.123.  Is there a newer one or did you just enter that value manually?  I've entered a value manually, but I'm not sure if it's really using it.  I know it will lock below 1000, such as 740, even when set on 1000, so I'm not even sure if the setting in that box means anything.  I don't know of a lower SR transponder to try it on.

@wejones,

It is true that I have manually entered the value of 260 in CS for the sake of the demonstration,to show that the new card does not lock the symbol rates below 500 Ks.It is also true that for 6522 Crazyscan has been updated,now being v.1.0.2.138.And for cable and terrestrial,CS2 is v.1.0.2.139.(Many thanks to @CrazyCat)

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well.
