amc3 is supposedly in the process of being replaced by ses2 and various reports show somoe tp's have improved while others may be be harder to receive now.

I am getting MEtv 1 at SES-2 (Formerly AMC-3) 87 west. 3845/H/5925. Since the changeover I get the 4080 now on my small 5'8" Unimesh dish. No luck with the 3800 yet.

Last night, I scanned these in for the first time in quite a while. I scanned them in on whatever we're calling the C-Band bird at 87° these days.

One thing I noticed... I had to adjust the polarity on my DSR-922 to -35 (minus 35). Normally, it would be at -20 for this polarity. So that's a difference of 15 degrees. Once I made that adjustment, I was able to get the Retro stuff at both 4080 & 3800. The numbers for all the NASA stuff and @Sports improved as well.

I don't know if this bird has gone "off skew", or if it's just an aboration in the conditions at my dish. But I thought I'd pass it along just in case that helps someone else.

Cheers

SES 2 is in place.  I watched it move from 77° to 87° on the BLSA.  Transponder 8 was in use during the move.

Snowman,

Have you tried adjusting your frequency from 3800 to 3801, 3802 or 3799, 3788?

I have great signal on both of the RTV's here in Missouri both before and after the satellite change.

Fellow Members, your posts are welcome here! Do not worry about posting everything perfect. Different receivers and LNB's will give you different Frequencies and Symbol Rates. Some set top boxes, PCI cards and USB receivers, Do Not Require all of the same information that others may need. It is not Required to post everything that others may need to tune in a feed. It is just most important to share the find. We can always adjust the Frequency and Symbol Rates and try the various Modulations and FEC's on our own receivers until we get a lock and then give a polite reply with what works for your receiver, as that information might help others as well. We all appreciate the efforts and energy of the Posters!
