Skip you have a very understanding bride! Mine would have had me on the"cot" by the dish on the first night! "Anony 55" is probably right about the sw. I pluged in my old 920 and it is not much different than the 922 except; more sats, better menu, and better symble rate. Your 920 is good, so the prob is either splitters or sw's... You get C and KU out of the splitters so the problem has got to be the sw's. The old method I used to seperate C and KU was a mechanical "A"/"B" switch. I have 1 diesq now and it seems to work ok It came with the pansat 9500 when I bought it. Also have you tried the back off button to let the AZ re-boot? sometimes I have to do that with my AZ. Have you checked radioshack? I use an "Ideal" 2-way satellite digitalcable splitter 5mhz-2.3ghz and an EV-41A 4x1 sw. __________________ 9ft.button hook mesh HtoH mount; 4dtv922 C/KU feed horn w/ slaved AZ prem, looped pan2500,9500, and a CW3000 at the end [need to change F/W]. Got a philips suround sound in there and SONY BRAVIA TV |

This knuckle head would like all to accept my apology for waisting your time and effort in resolving my C band problem. It was 2 weeks ago tonight that I could not find the PBS feed on AMC1. The next day Rick suggested that I swap out the C and Ku cables at both ends. Late this afternoon I swapped cables and now I have C band but now I have to add a new length of cable for Ku. As my late Father would say: " Life is tough and it's even tougher when your stupid." __________________ VietNam 1966-67 101st Airborne

Skip, Don't be so hard on yourself. A bad cable in the main ribbon can be a tough one to figure out sometimes, especially when it works one day and then not the next day. It is all part of the learning experience. Put all the new knowledge away in your brain and you will be all set for the next time something strange happens. Thanks to all who were helping. Skip, before you replace that cable try the connector replacement first. Weater can kill electrical connections over time. The new compresson connectors are better to put on. They last longer. Roger |

Thanks to Rick's supply and hardware I'm back on-line with C and Ku. It was another Marx Brothers routine. Fred AKA Skip __________________ VietNam 1966-67 101st Airborne
