video upscaler

I don't know where to put this question so I put it here. Does anyone use a video scaler on c-band or ku band. I have a receiver that upscales and one that does not. I swear that the upscale receiver gives a better picture on sd. I have been looking at a DVDO EDGE. Anyone have one? or know anything about them? Web search on them looks impressive in terms of evaluation and reviews. thanks

C & KU band lnb's

Okay the number for the lnb on the c-band side the lower number the more powerful, Is that correct? e.g a 15 c-band lnb is more powerful than a 20? Allright on the KU band the higher or lower number is more/less powerful?, I have a .6 ku band If I wanted to get a more powerful ku lnb lower or higher number?
